Do I need a new fan or can you repair the old one?
If the motor has seized or the unit is cracked we fit a new fan. Fault finding on the circuit, if the fan is fine and the supply has failed, is from £65 per hour.
Will you vent the fan to outside?
Yes, a bathroom or kitchen fan should discharge outside, not into a loft. If there is already a short duct we connect to it. A new run through a wall or roof is priced before we start.
Do I get a certificate?
When the quote includes a minor works certificate it starts from £95. We complete that after the fan is tested. Not every like for like swap needs one, and we say so on the quote.
